Swirling thoughts buzzing my head as I'm driving my bike to a cosy bar in Antwerp on a rainy Wednesday. There I'm meeting up with Gregory for coffee and to talk about maybe do a shoot. We hit it off right away, and next thing, we decided to do some quick testimages.
The WeatherGods though really played a trick on us. Soaking wet, we stumbled into my apartment. Which looked like a battlefield because I wasn’t expecting any guests of course. Mush came immediately lurking around the corner to say Hi to Greg. While I slipped out of my drowned clothes, I tiptoed towards the kitchen to make us some fresh warming tea.
All warmed up again, Gregory grabbed his camera and we started off. Without any expectations, but in a fun mood because we both looked like drowned puppies. After putting on my favorite playlist, I jumped in an old overall and got the idea to cut off the legs. The atmosphere just became cooler and more openminded with the second. No boundaries or awkward moments whatsoever, resulting in some intimate hazy looks and images. When Greg showed me the series, I was really excited. We managed to hit our goal: Expressing natural integrity, pure and uncut.
